What I call "gems" are one-time use collectable pick-ups that give the player an extra oomph, usually for a limited time. The idea is for gems to make for surprising and exciting moments that can give the player a sense of power and control over a game's obstacles.
They can be found in locked chests, secret boxes, or spawned from certain items. Gems can be used at any time by pressing "W" on Keyboard. So far I have 13 useable Gems in the game, the few that are still in progress are marked with an asterisk.
